Cell phones and mobile devices

Cell phones and mobileĀ  devices are considered unauthorized aids during a test or exam, even if they are not used. Penalties for using a smart phone or internet device as an aid can be serious. Devices should be stored with other valuables during an exam, or left outside the exam room or in a personal locker. Students writing exams who unexpectedly find they have a device in their possession should not handle it, and should alert the invigilator as soon as possible.
